This is an interesting story about a young boy, having lost both parents he finds a friend with robots and is running for his life from a maniacal killer. You have to learn how the world works through the reading and not much is revealed in this volume.
Unlike many graphic novels, the pacing in this one is pretty good. The author and artist handle time and events well, the art is good and the page layout is very traditional.
I feel I should add that Bender’s head is in one of the market drawings.
